How we rank
Tiers here are Early Access value, not a fighting-game bible. A hustle scores high if it:
- Unlocks relatively early through a VIP you can actually convert.
- Prints cash or saves time (Repo Man) without eating payday.
- Fits on the starter floor without a basement.
- Still works after Remix staff and performance changes.
It scores low if it needs three other systems, a reserved grid you do not understand, or a gambling streak. Scratchers are entertainment. They are not S tier.

Hustles unlock when a matching customer hits 100% loyalty. Discount shelves can rush that bar. Layout mistakes waste a good rank — a claw machine in the rewind highway is a D-tier placement of an A-tier toy. Park hardware using store layout. Employees do not run Fight Club for you; they barely run Comedy. See employees.
Store expansions (extra floor, basement, extra rewinders, self-checkouts) are ranked on the same page as hustles because they compete for the same dollars. Self-checkouts beat most gimmicks. Basements beat nothing until the hustle flag is on.
Remix in late August 2026 did not reroll every price, but it did change whether you want more bodies in the shop. Performance was the hidden ranking factor all spring. If a toy tanks the frame rate, it drops a letter. System requirements and the Remix update explain why.
What is not a tier list
Genre tapes are not ranked as “S-tier Comedy.” Stock the four tutorial genres and then whatever your VIPs ask for. Collectibles are a completionist track, not a money track — collectibles. Co-op does not change the ranks; it changes who walks the map while the claw runs.
Video game rentals are a loyalty aisle, not a hustle; they still compete for wall space so they belong in the same spending conversation. Start with the beginner guide if you have not converted a single member yet. The ranked page assumes you can stock, rewind, and smash a kiosk without a tooltip.
