Rewind 99 Arcade Machines Guide

Glitchy's Arcade is the town. The cabinets in your shop are the hustle — passive, slow, and not a claw.

Arcade Machines Hustle Guide

Remix live (27 August 2026): the in-store Arcade hustle is temporarily disabled with Sloshy Bar, Pizza Delivery, and Rodeo until rebuilt. Glitchy’s Arcade in town is still a landmark. Cabinets return “over the coming weeks.” Use Steam Legacy if you need the June cabinets tonight.

Reshoot Springs has two arcades, and clerks mix them up because the names rhyme on a map pin. Glitchy’s Arcade is a named storefront on the map — town furniture you scooter past on a late-fee loop. Arcade machines are the in-store hustle: VIP-gated cabinets you buy from the Store Manager after a member handshake. Official Early Access press listed Arcades next to Fight Club and pizza as a side hustle. This page is the clerk version: which one you own, how it levels, and why a creator comment screaming “get arcade machine side hustle to level 8” is not a slot-machine walkthrough.

If the first truck is still in the alley, ignore both. The beginner guide is four tape genres and a bat. Cabinets do not rewind.

Town arcade vs your cabinets

Glitchy’s Arcade is the neighbor. Community footage and Steam copy keep repeating the same strip-mall energy: Probe ‘n’ Go, the gas station, Glitchy’s. Early clips showed some cabinets — air hockey among them — sitting out of order. Treat that as scenery, not a repair quest this wiki can close. You do not stock Glitchy’s. You do not collect a second paycheck there. You walk past it the way you walk past Save-A-Lot.

Your cabinets live on your floor. They are the knockoff you own. The tier list ranks Arcade machines in A: furniture plus a slow meta, not a jackpot. They print while you stand still, which is why they sit next to Repo Man and mixing instead of next to Fight Club. They do not replace how to make money. Rentals, late fees, Candy, and Claw still print the week.

The mid-article video is a rental-store session so you see how much shop still happens when neon exists. Watch the floor, not the town marquee.

On Legacy co-op, a town runner can window-shop Glitchy’s while the host rewinds. On Remix, you are probably solo until Steam restores multiplayer. Do not mix branches. Do not confuse a landmark with a hustle flag.

Unlock

Same loop as every gig. There is no arcade-only shortcut.

  1. Finish the first truck. Empty shelves do not convert anyone.
  2. Open the customers tab. Find the VIP tied to Arcade. Stock their genre. Keep copies rewound. Smash the kiosk across the street so they walk into your door.
  3. Push loyalty to 100%. 99% is still a tourist. VIP memberships is the conversion page. Discount a small bay if the bar stalls, then take the discount down.
  4. Convert them to a member. The Store Manager will not sell Arcade hardware without the flag.
  5. Hold a payday buffer, then buy and place the machines. 0.9.32 reserved-grid warnings exist because people blocked the truck door with toys.

One handshake is one hustle. Claw, Candy, Repo Man, Fight Club, pizza, mixing, and Arcade are different VIPs. If the listing is grey, you do not have the member flag. Buy Claw or Candy first if that VIP is already at 100%. Arcade is A, not S, and it can wait a week.

Remix on 27 August 2026 required new save files. An Arcade flag on Legacy stays on Legacy. Convert again on the 1.0 clerk. Co-op is off the live branch (Steam: performance instability).

Leveling the hustle

Arcade is passive and slow to level. That is the whole review in one sentence. Creators parked the cabinets, went back to rewind, then hit a wall that read like get arcade machine side hustle to level 8 and had no idea what it meant. The tier list already translated: you parked the hustle and forgot to play the meta. Nudge it. Do not expect a slot machine.

Leave the cabinets on the floor where customers can reach them. Keep the shop open. Keep traffic coming — smash RentNet, stock the genre wall, do not hide the machines in a basement you bought for Fight Club. You do not stand there feeding quarters all Friday. You also do not ignore a quest log that named a hustle level while you chase pier scores.

Level 8 is a gate some players saw, not a jackpot and not a published payout table. If a popup asks for hustle level, believe it the way you believe a reserved grid. Fight Club stacks VIP plus hustle level plus basement. Arcade is slower than Claw and less of a trap than the club. Keep Claw and Candy as the first buys. Do not spend wage money on a cabinet while the left rewind bin is full. Self-checkouts (players often name store level 10) still beat half the toys, including this one.

Placement

Put Arcade on a dead wall — visible, off the rewind highway, off the truck door, off the checkout lane. The store layout five zones still apply: truck alley, rewind highway, checkout, genre walls, then hustle and trophy dead walls. Claw, Candy, Arcade, and Sloshy belong in zone five. A cabinet in the only aisle is an A-tier toy in an F-tier seat.

Aisles wide enough for a customer plus you carrying a box. Doors swing into empty tile. Reserved hustle grids mean what they say after 0.9.32. If the popup refuses, you need the VIP flag or a free grid, not a 2-degree rotation. In co-op on Legacy, the host F5s before four people rotate cabinets into the return counter. Committee interiors brick a door.

Extra cabinets are extra furniture, not extra physics like the bull, but a maze still multiplies NPC brains. Strip toys from the main loop before you lower shadows. Remix rebuilt hitching; it did not make labyrinths free.

What it is not

Not Glitchy’s Arcade. Town location. Some air hockey out of order in early footage. Landmark on the map, not your hustle.

Not the Claw Machine. Claw is S: early, on-floor, spare change, and the collectibles line. Arcade does not hide the 99-item room. Do not skip Claw to buy neon.

Not Pier 67. Whack-A-Gull, Balloon Darts, and 4-Lane Bowling Mini Golf pay Tickets for cosmetics. 3 Card Poker shipped in the same “go outside” window. Those are town minigames. Arcade cabinets in your shop are a hustle. Tickets do not level Arcade. Arcade does not print Tickets.

Not Fight Club. The club is C, a second game in the basement. Arcade is furniture you walk past on the way to Comedy.

Not payroll. Rank A because it is good furniture and a slow meta, not because it beats late fees. If payday is yellow, the cabinets stay unbought. Walk how to make money until the analog loop is muscle, then add neon.

Remix needed new saves. Legacy for co-op. Do not mix branches. The analog shop is the product. Arcade is the hum you install after the bin is empty. Be kind, rewind, then let the cabinets idle.
